Rockband is a new game for Xbox 360 and various other next-gen consoles. It competes closely with the now-famous, Guitar Hero. The game allows you to form a virtual band with drums, bass, guitar, and vocals. The whole game package costs about $250 and can be bought at a lot of video game stores. My brother and I received it for Christmas and so far we have only played it a little bit. From the time I have spent playing it, I am not too impressed. I only tried the drum set. It was very responsive, but there was a lag on my hits. I tried fixing this in the settings but the delay wouldn’t go away. I am yet to try the guitar, but from what I have heard, the hardware for this virtual instrument is crappy. My conclusion is: For guitar playing, choose Guitar Hero. If you insist on RockBand, at least use a Guitar Hero controller with the game (Yes, it’s compatible). If you want the whole rock band experience, well, play RockBand. Maybe I just don’t like it because I actually play real instruments. Okay, well, yeah, cya!

Lost Planet is an awesome shooter game for Microsoft’s Xbox 360 gaming console. I like it a lot. The main objective of the game is to, well, follow the storyline, and shoot as many alien beasts as possible. The characters, landscape, and aliens are very unique. I suggest this video game for moderately skilled gamers.
