Hmm well hrm hm, it appears I broke my Diana+

the damage displayed with Hipstamatic (best app evah).
This happened while I was trying to take off its lens to put on my didge-et-uhl camera with this nifty adaptor I bought, which arrived in the mail today, which is pretty cool, and makes the camera way like ten pounds less.. and – oh yeah, I twisted the wrong part and it just BROKE. Forums on Flickr said “oh yeah, it will be really really hard to get off at first but just.. twist it.” I guess that only applies for.. the right part.
On the bright side my Gorillapod tripod (also ordered with Christmas amazon gift card – thanks Volls!) came, and it’s pretty shnazzy dazzy (changing up the adjectives, okay?).

School started yesterday. Part of my homework tonight is to fill out an “Application for Employment” for our class bake sale business. Half of it is marked “N/A” because I don’t have any degrees, slash haven’t exactly been to college yet. Last.fm is playing me some lovely recommendations.
Speaking of Last.fm.. what’s the spiel? I’ve had an account for awhile and quite plainly don’t use it (except for right now). The statistics aren’t really right and most of the time just make me feel weird, like the internet is judging my music tastes (by not really right I mean inaccurate and by inaccurate I mean it sees my Top Album as my cantor’s Bar Mitzvah practice CD) (and my judging music tastes I mean “I’m a neurotic Jew”). I guess I shouldn’t be worried about the latter though because I’m pretty proud of the music I listen to. It’s just stuff like, I dunno, say, the Spongebob soundtrack that should stay UNDER THE RADAR.
Honestly it’s not so much judgement, though, as the thought that somebody could be analyzing what you’re listening to (wait.. okay yeah judgement). Meh.
p.s. wait! I never even uploaded pictures taken with the Diana! Okay, added to the to-do list.
edit: Last.fm scrabbling and stuff works fine, it just doesn’t gauge Top Bands and stuff like that right because I don’t always listen to music on iTunes/other scrobble-able stuff. Sometimes it’s a turntable or car stereo and things a’like that. My suspicion is that I think music listening in private is private.. which kind of goes against a lot of what I think about music but, maybe the internet makes it different?
