I remember elementary school drawings. The kids who could draw the fancy “S”’s right were really cool. Most of my drawings however, were fantasy Pokemon.

Wilco is coming to play a FREE show in Vancouver for the Olympics. I’m excited! Even though the city will be effectively shut down, and the premier basically wants to enforce martial law, I will have something to look forward to.

So, I should save the 80-gazillion drawings my youngsters have made? I am always so torn about that. Each one is a masterpiece as far as I’m concerned, but the reality of dating drawings and locating them in a safe place when storage is limited is ridiculous. But it’s nice to see that you are enjoying looking back at your early art forays. That tips the scale toward saving.

I’m excited that Wilco is finally coming to Seattle – tickets are lined up for Feb. I’m never so organized as to think ahead 4 months, but I pulled it together this time!
