bubble tea gang
Oct 20, 2009Sorry, been asleep/at a Wilco show/sleeping over at me and Sam’s adult friends’ house. Here are some formsprings to soothe the soul.
have you seen Where the Wild Thing Are?
Nope. I want to soon though.
What is your favorite song your dad has ever written?
I don’t really know. It’d be easier to say my least favorite.
ever hear that song Losing my religion?
Nada.
smile more.
Okay. :)
If you were a Magical Pony what color would you be, and what super power would you possess? P.S. I would be white with rainbow tiger stripes, and my magical power would be to have the ability to grow a handlebar mustache on command.
That’s awesome. I think I would be some blue + green combination with symmetrical tribal prints all over, and the power to fly or maybe breathe underwater.
Why are you such a cool kid?
Thank you! I blame my parents.
7 billion people just doesn’t seem like that many. sometimes i really believe i could remember everyones name.
If you really think that you should hold seminars with substitute teachers on how to remember their kids’ names. Or parents with a lot of children (Duggars anyone?).
how was the texan candy?
Delish.
What is your worst habit?
Dunno, I’M PERFECT. jk lol rofl ttyl. No probably forgetting to brush my teeth sometimes on the weekends and/or procrastinating more than I used to.
Money beats love every time
That sounds really cynical. I don’t really like cynical stuff. The truth’s okay, even if it’s cynical. But if it’s just like I HATE THE WORLD LOVE SUCKS no sirree.
What’s liam finn like?
Awesome. All the Finns are awesome. I love them.
It would make me very happy if every time I played your Dad’s records they sold.
Thanks? Oh that reminds me of one time we were getting takeout from a bar and this hammered dude was like, “you know, I’d realleh like to see your guys’s records sell” to my dad. Not to compare you with a drunk guy or something.
Doppleganger is my favorite word. I try to incorporate it into sentences most every day. Whoop! Just did. :P
Nice! I don’t know what my favorite word is.
I see lots of plastic in your future.
Thaaaat’s weeeeird.
I buy a lot of books and it makes me sad when I realize that I may never have time to read all of them.
Aww. You don’t have to read all of them. Books are really good for other things like impressing visitors and decoration and filling bookshelves.
poop
Pee.
What are the top 3 best thing that have ever happened to you? And the worst?
As you could maybe tell from all my “I don’t know what my favorite is” statements, I don’t really like to make these lists. I think I get too carried away and then I feel like I need to categorize everything and put each bell and whistle* in its own little box (why I don’t have a listography). Also I don’t love thinking things are bad or good, because it’s an opinion and in my opinion things don’t always need to have that judgmental tag.
* lol bell and whistle OLD PEOPLE TERMS
Its full of stars
..and nebulae.
What if we just run around a scream medulla oblongata?
I’m not sure what that is but it sounds ancient and ritual-y.
hey batter, hey batter, batter, batter…
We wanna a pitcher, not a glass!
In a common place environment, at an inappropriate hour, do we perceive beauty? Do we stop to appreciate it? Do we recognize talent in an unexpected context?
Absolutely. I think so. I know I appreciate bucket drummers and how talented (most of them) they are. Some people, though, I think don’t give a rat’s ace.
You take a hot dog, stuff it with some jack cheese, fold it in a pizza … you got Cheezy Blasters! And then all the kids say, “Thanks, Meat Cat!” and then Meat Cat flies away on his, um, skateboard.
I love you Liz Lemon.
Is Ringo a criminally underrated drummer? I’m thinking his drumming from ‘66-’70 in particular.
Heelll no! Ringo Star is a star (haha punny). It’s no question that he’s an inspiration and a favorite to lots’o musicians.
hmmmm i wish i had something thoughtful to say, but i don’t…
Just speak your mind, man. The sky is the limit! You can do it if you put your mind to it! [-paraphrased from a certain person who wears fedoras and walks barefoot. if you know who I mean, you know who I mean.]
Narcoleptic , paranoid, borderline hopeless, A.D.D., pcp, s..c..r…e..w..e..d, that is me! Feeling better then yesterday?
I’m sorry. Yes I am feeling better.
Rain in Seattle today but not Seattle rain more like midwest heavy rain, foggy in the morning then bright and sunny then billowy clouds, hail, thunder, warm not chilly, then rain like normal Seattle rain.
That sounds nice.
some hugs really do make you feel good.other hugs feel empty.
You should do a study.
Do you have a costume for Halloween? If so, what is it?
Yeah! I plan on being a cowboy, which means wearing flannel and a hat and boots and maybe a novelty badge.. I even bought a fake cigar, for kicks.
My dad is in the ICU right now. I hit “open” on his CD player as thought it might be nice for him to have something to listen to in the hospital. He and I both go on these listening binges where it’s all about one artist for weeks, if not months on end. Anyhow, the five CD’s in his CD tray were: 1)Dylan-Blonde On Blonde 2)Dylan-The Times They Are A-Changin’ 3)Dylan-Highway 61 Revisited 4)Dylan-The Freewheelin’ 5)Dylan-Bringing It All Back Home. Yep..He was on a binge all right..
Sorry your dad’s in the ICU! That’s a cool story, though. Were you on a “Dylan binge” too?
I’m heading to the midwest next week from sunny, and finally cool Florida. Any packing suggestions?
Yes. Everything living in Bob Dylan’s hair.
btdoobles these are mostly from a couple days ago (haven’t gotten around to the newest ones). Also I don’t want this to be 100% your stupid questions (joking), so I might need to put them on my tumblr and only put the elite here. Hrrmm.

LOL SKY’S THE LIMIT JASON MRAZ
Look, I’m not saying that What’s in Bob Dylan’s Hair picture is flawed because it’s pretty perfect…but….wouldn’t it be cool if there was another, smaller Bob Dylan living in Bob Dylan’s hair?
Okay, so what would be your least favorite song by your dad?
[...] Read the original: bubble tea gang [...]
its like losing your car keys
So…what’s your least favorite Beatles’ album?
Mine would be one of the early ones pre-Help. Although I do like songs from all of them. Just speaking of albums as a whole…
Maybe you could so a side blog with nothing but Formsprings?
Would be nice if you could attach pictures to the messages.
Well, if I wasn’t on Dylan binge before, I am now.
Had “Bringin It All Back Home” on for him last night most of last night.
We’ve continued on with BIABH for most of the morning visiting hours, and then switched over to “Blonde On Blonde”.
The nurse came in to advise that daytime visiting hours were over just as “Stuck inside of Mobile” was starting. I asked if I could possibly stay for just “one song longer”
“Stuck inside of Mobile” ended and now I’m utilizing the free hospital wifi in the lobby waiting for round two of visiting hours to start back up again at 5:00 PM EST.
Think we’ll resume the binge with the remainder of ” Blonde on Blonde” and then switch over to “Highway 61 revisited”.
You’re all welcome to sing along with us if you’d like!
And feel free to correct all my typos..if you’re into it that is.
I trust ya:-)
blood on the tracks and desire always put me in the right frame of mind
You should have a favorite word. It’s one of my favorite questions to ask people, both in life and in interviews. My favorite word is obstreperous.
I think (hope) that the comment about plastics in your future was actually an allusion to the movie, The Graduate, where Dustin Hoffman’s character is famously told that he should consider a future in plastics.

Or he could start a tarp company from his basement X-D
