When I was in 4th grade, I had my first Steinbeck experience reading "The Red Pony". I famously threw it across the room when finished and declared I was never reading Steinbeck again. Ha. Little did I know, that was just the tip of the Steinbeck iceberg in school.

Stay away from eating the otters as you read about the turtle crossing the highway.

Good luck!

I think the second photo could be part of an album cover. To me, the lady killed the guy and tried to flush him down the toilet to hide the evidence, while the sea lion sat off to the side being fuzzy and all, and not really having toilet guy's back. Then, the second guy came in and croaked right on the spot after seeing what happened to the first guy, aware of his impending doom.

I liked Of Mice and Men. We read The Pearl in 9th grade, and I liked the story, but I didn't really "get" a lot of books back then. I don't really "get" a lot of books now, but the ones I do, I tend to like a lot, like "Perks" :-D. If you are ever offered "A Confederacy of Dunces", by John Kennedy Toole as a reading selection, grab it. It's hysterical.

Your post reminded me of this awesome website: http://yogabeans.com/. I think you will enjoy it! It is "your internet source for plastic action figures demonstrating ashtanga yoga"!
