Sagacious (even though I’m not sure how to pronounce it)

Dudes dudes dudes! I met Mica + the gang today. We were going to see them play tonight but, as I am but a small child (and have a show tomorrow), it was a no-can-do. Poop. Instead we came to the soundcheck and met them and Chairlift – all are so so so nice. I felt/feel like such a weirdo freaking out over meeting them, because I basically only started listening a few days ago. But in general it’s always cool to like, hear and see people that you normally do through your computer and such. It’s almost like a character from a book coming to life, and then being super down-to-earth and awesome. Um yeah.

That’s a beautiful painting. Hope you have a great show :-D
Hi Spencer,
DDDUUde I took your recommendation and went and saw Mica, they RoCked!!!
I was speaking to them outside and asked if they would want to play my birthday party which they even agreed too, but unfortunetly are not in town for:( but they seemed so excited about it!
P..S I was the girl with the red boots, hat… anyways… I was totally freakin out on the inside that I was in the same room with your dad……LOL!!!!! I regret not introducing myself,I did not want to interupt your family time…and at the moment would have been a totally kuckoo gushing fan…lol!!!!
I wanted to say:
I have tix for both shows at UIC and can’t wait;) also wanted to give your dad a hard time about not playing the Winter Residency last winter!
Peace,

Meeting people you admire artistically is probably what keeps me doing what I’m doing as a writer. Trust me, being a blogger / web writer doesn’t pay, so you have to have something to make it worth the time you invest.
Meeting and talking to your dad and the other members (past and present) in his band are at the top of my highlights in my “career”. But I’ve been able to meet a lot of really cool people over the years who I admire and that’s been pretty cool.
