Fred Phelps and co. are in NYC now. It’s awful. They’re skitting around Brooklyn protesting Yom Kippur services, it’s disgusting. They were at my friend’s old high school earlier this week.

Fred Phelps is such a jerk. I live in Kansas City and he’s over here all of the time pulling his tricks. He has babies out on street corners holding up signs for things they could never possibly understand. It’s a total cult.

Doing some research on young bloggers for a documentary I’m going to make. Very funny, insightful stuff here. Keep it up!

I heard the Phelp’s crowd are only in it for the law suit money (most of the menfolk are lawyers): 1.) Pick controversial topic; 2.) take it to the religious right extreme; 3.) taunt people at their most vulnerable (like a funeral for a fallen soldier); 4.) wait for someone to either remove you from your protest area or kick your butt for being a complete jerk and, finally, 5.) sue for having your right to free speech violated or your butt kicked. They were here in Minneapolis a few years ago pulling the same crap at the Basillica Block Party and tried to sue because people were pulling their signs down.

La Shana Tova! I saw the Blisters play several years ago at Lolla, and we were all impressed! Last week I stumbled upon your blog via Tavi, and am once again impressed. It’s nice to see that there is hope for the younger generation. It’s so awesome to see that teenagers can be intelligent, sweet, free thinking and creative people. Keep up the good work, I’m already addicted to your blog.
