I have some sort of writer’s block (though I don’t like to call it that because I think it’s more of an excuse than a condition) going on, so here’s a cute synopsis of this week sans detail.

Tuesday I bought a Pickle-in-a-Pouch, for my teacher, but left it in my friend’s backpack. It is yet to be returned.

Wednesday I had a band practice for the first time in ages (separate schools makes planning haarrrrd). Afterward we burned incense and listened to vinyl, because that’s hip and we’re hip. So basically it was a massive hipfest up in there. (the only thing missing would be some hip Pabst Blue Ribbon, but, y’know, that whole “under 21″ thing.) Also in science class we visited this plot of land our school is supposed to build a garden on, which right now is a two-lot trash pit with no sunlight. We kept on finding old things (shards of mirror, tattered clothes, Pokemon action figures) in the ground..

Today was my grandpa Zaid’s birthday, so we went out to dinner and ordered especially special apple strudel and fudge cake. On the way home we almost witnessed a family of raccoons/possums/somethings be, um, slaughtered on a busy street. They made it across but then another one came running out and was inches away from a tire. I almost cried (so sensitive, dammit). My mom did cry.

Finally,

a photo of Noah to brighten up your day.

and P.S. PAVEMENT IS GETTING BACK TOGETHER! In New York! We might maybe perhaps be able to go see them because it’s THAT SPECIAL, but I don’t know. And also fall shows are starting, so, teachers, expect late homework. I would write “*awkward Jew-sigh*” but I’m not sure how that translates or what that’s supposed to mean, but I’m sure Danny gets it. :)
